Since 2019, we have not been able to hold Pop-Up Poplar Theater Outdoor Screening at a riverbank of the Honkawa due to COVID-19. However, with the birth of a new soccer stadium (Sakasta) and changes in the surrounding environment, we have consulted with various related parties. As a result, we have decided that we can hold the event on the following dates.
This year marks the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing and the 100th birthday of Suzu (main character) from anime film “In This Corner of the World.” We hope to spend a wonderful autumn evening with everyone, so we look forward to your participation.
The Pop-Up Poplar Theater Outdoor Screening Committee will be working on this, but we need your help and support. We appreciate your cooperation.
